Welcome!
Welcome to the new and updated page for Erith Town Youth, the home of all news and information that involves the mini, youth and junior sections of Erith Town FC, as well as the work we have been doing in the local community. As the Youth & Community area of Erith Town, we have recruited well over the summer and are extremely proud to have five youth teams across the South East London & Kent Youth Football League (SELKENT), and three teams at Kent Youth League (KYL) level.
There has been a real focus from everyone behind the scenes at the club to develop and build on our youth level. Along with the fantastic teams we already have in place, our vision as a club is to introduce more youth teams across SELKENT and KYL over the coming seasons, and to create pathways for those to represent the famous Red & Black when they are older. Along with increasing the number of teams in these respective divisions, we are also working incredibly hard behind the scenes to introduce female football at Erith Town and be a club which will be a hub for female players to continue their journeys in the game for many years to come.
To help young players from our local area get started in the game and to nurture and enhance their abilities, we are delighted to announce we are launching our Erith Town Lions & Lionesses scheme at Lime Wood Primary School from the 30th September 2023. By inviting boys and girls of Primary School ages to these fantastic weekend sessions with UEFA qualified coaches on the primary school’s new 3G pitch, this allows us to get these young players enjoying their football, learning and developing their existing potential and helping them to be the very best they can be. For more information, please send an email to info@erithtown.com or come along to one of these sessions.
Make sure you keep visiting our page for regular news and updates from Erith Town Youth & Community, or if you have any questions then make sure you email us on youth@erithtown.com.
